Meet Annie

This beautiful girl, who I got to shoot over the long weekend is Annie.  She is a Malinois/Shepard Cross who is full of heart:)

She loves to fetch.

and overall, is just a happy kind of girl! 

She knows how to relax!

 

She was a great model!  

 

with the whitest, cleanest teeth I have ever seen!

Bentley & Lily

I got to shoot Bentley & Lily back in June, but I didn't have a blog then, so I didn't get to really share them:)  I thought that today might be fitting to share some of their shoot with you, as I hear that Lily has to go in for surgery on her leg tomorrow. 

Bentley is definitely his Daddy's boy:)  He couldn't have cared less about what I was doing, as long as he knew where Dad was!

 

Lily is such a sweet little girl.  If I remember correctly, she was about 4 months old when we did these photos.  I've seen her once since then, at the Humane Society's Dog Jog, and she has really grown up (at least in body!).  She was is a total ham - she LOVES the camera.  She was a fantastic little model!

 

 

 

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Lily!  I hope that everything goes well, and you'll be back tearing up the dog park in no time!

A girl and her cat . . .

I really do believe that kids need pets and this is why,

 When I first created this post, I thought I was being clever by adding funny captions to each photo, however it was pretty cheesy (turns out I'm really not all that clever:) and I think that the photos make my point all by themselves:) 

Happiness

I'm so excited to go to the Photo Expo in Calgary tomorrow!  Even though it will be a very early morning, the company will be great, and we can stop for lots of coffee along the way:) 

Speaking of happiness, I just wanted to share a photo that makes me happy.  This is my daughter, and our dog Belle.  It was taken this spring, and whenever I see it, I just smile.  It just makes me feel warm and joyful:)  I think pets are a great way to teach children about responsibility, compassion, empathy, love and friendship (just to name a few!)

 

Also, speaking of happy, I wanted to update that Boone was found, and is now home with his family:)
